The Super Bowl secret is revealed.
The costs for suites at Allegiant Stadium for Sunday’s big game between the 49ers and Chiefs have been a hot subject in recent days, after Christian McCaffrey’s mother, Lisa, revealed on her “Your Mum” podcast that she and her family would not be purchasing one because it was too pricey.
According to TickPick, game suites at the Las Vegas arena range in price from $800,000 to $2 million.
Kelly Stafford, the wife of Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford, discussed the situation with Claire Kittle, the wife of 49ers tight end George Kittle, on Stafford’s “The Morning After” podcast.
“The suite prices hit the internet,” Stafford remarked.
Kittle then said the pricing were “absurd” and that she and her family would not be purchasing one.
They would be instead sitting in the lower bowl of the stadium.
“Well, at least you are down there. I feel like usually the team tickets suck,” Stafford said.
“They do during the regular season,” Kittle agreed. “We were in the lower bowl for the Miami [Super Bowl].”
Stafford said she was worried about Kittle and other 49ers’ wives since they are so recognizable to NFL fans.
“People do not comprehend. People believe that during the season, tickets are free for players, but this is not the case. “They actually cost nearly the same,” Stafford explained.
“When those prices went up, I thought of you for one. Because I believe that when you walk around, people recognise you.
Kittle noted that her brother, who is 6-foot-7, would be helping play the role of security guard.
She also disclosed that she would be seated next to Kristin Juszczyk, a personal friend and wife of 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk, while the players’ families were spread out throughout the stadium.
“I am hoping it’s a good game, good start, everyone Is in good spirits all around us,” he remarked.
Stafford is not foreign to drama with rowdy fans.
In 2021, Stafford threw a pretzel at a rowdy 49ers fan while Matthew’s Rams were playing a road game in San Francisco.
“He was saying a bunch of things that were aggressive towards our crew but zero excuse,” Kelly said at the time. “I tried to apologize, but in the end knew I was wrong. Will always stand up for my guy and everyone I love, but obviously needed to do it completely different! I’m embarrassed too! Sorry you had to witness me in my weak moment!”
