Wolves to move in for Josh Brownhill
According to The Mirror, Wolves boss Gary O’Neil is a ‘big admirer’ of Burnley’s captain Josh Brownhill.
Wolves are watching his situation at Turf Moor closely with the player in a contract stand-off which could make a January move possible as Vincent Kompany’s side look to avoid losing him for free.
Therefore, the midfielder could be available for as little as £7million which would be an absolute steal for Old Gold.
Given his immense quality, Brownhill could potentially cause some changes to occur in the first-team line-up.
Where does Josh Brownhill fit in at Wolves?
Brownhill is a player who is easy to envision in the centre of midfield bossing it for Wolves. He has long, long been a rumoured target for the Molineux side and therefore a deal seems logical.
Although the pairing of Gomes and Lemina has been really solid this season, if signed in January, Brownhill probably slots straight in next to Lemina to form a strong and experienced duo.
This however would spell bad news for both Traore and Doyle who would see their game time depreciate massively.
