The Cleveland Browns season has been marred by injuries but a team overcoming them. Despite losing to the Denver Broncos in Week 12, the Browns are 7-4 going into Week 13 of the season despite losing the following players due to injury for the season:
QB Deshaun Watson
RB Nick Chubb
OL Jack Conklin
WR/KR Jakeem Grant
S Rodney McLeod
A variety of other players, including OL Jedrick Wills, have been placed on injured reserve but could return this year.
During the Broncos game, something seemed off with DE Myles Garrett who was seen grimacing throughout the game. Garrett was off the field more often than normal and had a limited impact on the game.
Following the game fears only increased that Garrett could also miss significant time:
Garrett has been the best player on the best defense in the league this year. In 11 games, Garrett has 13 sacks, 11 tackles for loss, 23 quarterback hits, four forced fumbles, two passes defended and one fumble recovery.
The Browns will be staying in Los Angeles this week before their matchup with the LA Rams in Week 13. With Dorian Thompson-Robinson, Amari Cooper and Jordan Elliott being knocked out of the Broncos game and Garrett’s shoulder injury, health will be the biggest story this week.
We will keep you up to date as news on the extent of Garrett’s injury becomes available.
