Shock as 15-Year-Old Mentally Unstable Girl Gives Birth at PHCC Agasha
There was shock and deep concern at the Primary Health Care Centre (PHCC) in Agasha, Benue State, after a 15-year-old girl believed to be mentally unstable gave birth under unusual and troubling circumstances.
The incident reportedly occurred when health workers at the facility noticed the teenage girl loitering around the premises in visible discomfort. According to eyewitness accounts, the girl, who is said to roam the streets of Agasha, appeared confused and unable to communicate clearly when approached.
A nurse at the health centre, who spoke anonymously, said staff initially assumed the girl was experiencing stomach pains.
