The club has currently banned the Green Brigade because of a number of occurrences that resulted in inappropriate behavior and non-compliance with statutory standards.
The Green Brigade and the club need to have mature and honest discussions in order to resolve this issue and lift the ban.
Celtic decided to permanently remove the Ultras
season tickets at Parkhead due to concerns about the group’s actions, which included using fireworks in an unsafe and widespread manner, rushing turnstiles and forcing open fire exits, breaking into stadiums without permission to display an unauthorized banner, and acting violently and intimidatingly toward stewards both at home and away.
Thus, until the club lifts the ban, the Green Brigade will not be present at Celtic’s games.
Simon Donnelly, a former Celtic player, expressed his optimism that constructive dialogue between the two sides could lead to a resolution. He emphasized that the Green Brigade is a big part of what makes Celtic Park feel like home and that their absence makes the stadium feel empty and unwelcoming.
