Milwaukee defeated the Phoenix Suns in six games to win the 2021 championship. The following is Antetokounmpo’s statement regarding his signing of a multi-year agreement with the Bucks:
“Milwaukee is my home, where we raised our family, where I began my career, and where I will continue to put in a lot of effort every day to win over Bucks supporters.” I would like to thank Wes, Jamie, Jimmy, and Dee, the owners of the Milwaukee Bucks, for their unwavering support of my family and me. I would also like to thank Jon Horst for being a reliable partner who has been with me since the day I moved to Milwaukee ten years ago.
I will always be appreciative of my coaches and teammates for motivating me to give it my all each and every day. We are dedicated to working together to win and bring our city another championship. And let’s get it, Bucks fans!
