After playing a stellar game at the Nik Peach Jam on Saturday in front of the University of Louisville coaches, West Haven, Conn., Notre Dame small forward Abdou Toure has landed a scholarship offer from the Cardinals.
The 6-foot-6, 185-pound Toure is now up to 12 scholarship offers after getting ones this week from Alabama, Oregon, Arizona State, Texas A&M, and now the Cardinals.
Toure had 20 points, four assists, four rebounds, and just one turnover on Saturday as Expressions Elite beat Team United and then he added 13 points and three rebounds on Sunday in a victory over Team Final.
Toure, whose parents are from Guinea, Africa, played for Guinea in the FIBA U17 Basketball World Cup earlier this summer. His uncle, Ibrahima Toure, coached the team, and his cousins, Nour Gassim Toure and Sekoul Toure, were on the team. Abdou Toure scored 50 in one game in Turkey.
Abdou Toure also participated in the EuroCup in Poland and attended the Nike Elite 100 in St. Louis.
A Class of 2026 prospect, Toure helped lead Notre Dame to the CIAC Division I championship in March.
