Enso Gonzalez has stated that his lack of senior playing time at Wolverhampton Wanderers is not a problem.
The Premier League team was finally active in the market during the last days of the summer transfer window, and they were able to secure a contract for the 18-year-old.

Wolves decided to spend €6 million on a player who had already made 39 appearances for Club Libertad in Paraguay, seven of which were in continental competition.

But even after two and a half months of being here, head coach Gary O’Neil has yet to give the teenager any playing time with the first squad.

Gonzalez’s only other appearances as a substitute for a senior team came during the Premier League away at Crystal Palace and the EFL Cup matchup with Ipswich Town.

Rather, Gonzalez has established himself as a mainstay with the Under-21s, starting three games in Premier League 2 and leaving a lasting impact in an International Cup matchup victory over PSV Eindhoven, 2-1.

Gonzalez isn’t exactly where he would have liked to be in the English football Premier League, but he isn’t going to give up on trying to get a chance later in the season.

The prospect stated, “It was very difficult at the beginning; the pace cost me, the atmosphere, the weather, but I know that the road is long and everything is in its time,” in an interview with the Paraguayan publication Versus. I am at ease because Julio (Enciso), who had to wait a long time for his debut, experienced it.

“I had a difficult time and played poorly in our first Under-21 squad game. But after that, I immediately adjusted and performed well in the games that followed. Usually, the assistant to the coach attends the games.

“I am aware that this is a long process; it is a process of adaptation. That keeps me calm, all in his time. I always say, Let it be what God wants.”

Gonzalez signed a six-year contract when choosing to make the switch to Molineux in August.

With star winger Pedro Neto expected to be sidelined until at least December, Gonzalez will hope to earn a place in an upcoming Premier League squad.
