‘Looking Back, Leaving the Los Angeles Rams Was a Step Up’ – Former Rams Star Takes Huge Dig at His Old Club with Bold Remarks

Former Los Angeles Rams linebacker Travin Howard has made striking remarks about his time with the franchise, revealing that he never truly felt loved or appreciated during his tenure. In a candid interview, Howard explained that despite his efforts to remain with the Rams, it became clear that his fate was sealed long before he had the opportunity to prove himself.

“Looking back, leaving the Rams was a huge step up for me,” Howard stated. “I put so much into my time there, trying to show them that I deserved a spot on the team. But no matter how hard I worked, it always felt like I wasn’t given a real chance to prove myself. It was like decisions about my future were made long before I had the opportunity to show what I could do.”

Howard went on to emphasize that the Rams never felt like a true family to him, which impacted his experience with the team. “There was no real sense of support, no unity. I didn’t feel the club had my back, and it just didn’t seem like they appreciated the effort I was putting in. It was frustrating because I wanted to be part of something bigger, but it never felt like I was really part of the family.”

The linebacker, who was instrumental in key moments during the Rams’ Super Bowl run, added that leaving the team ultimately allowed him to find a better environment where he could grow and feel valued. He expressed satisfaction with his new club, stating, “Now I’m in a place where I feel appreciated. It’s a team that values me and gives me the opportunity to reach my potential.”

Travin Howard’s comments are likely to stir conversation among Rams fans and the wider NFL community. While the Rams are known for their recent success, Howard’s remarks highlight potential internal challenges regarding player treatment and support.

Howard, now focused on his career with his new team, believes that his departure from the Rams, though difficult, was the right decision. “Leaving was tough, but it’s been a blessing in disguise. I’ve found a place where I can really contribute and feel part of something special. That’s something I never felt in Los Angeles,” he concluded.

His bold statements may prompt discussions within the Rams organization about player relations and the importance of fostering a supportive and family-like atmosphere. Meanwhile, Howard looks ahead with optimism, determined to make the most of the fresh opportunities in his new chapter.
