Saidou Khan has been shortlisted for the Sky Bet League Two Goal of the Month award for November.
While there was nothing delicate or intricate about Khan’s goal, it was still a thing of beauty, struck with a ferocity that meant the ball didn’t deviate on its trajectory from boot to the bulging net.
It was an ideal strike for the midfielder to score his first league goal of the season and give those chilly travelling Swindon fans to celebrate back in November.
Khan will have to see off competition from Stockport’s Odin Bailey, Colchester’s Arthur Read and Notts’s David McGoldrick to land the prize.
