The Philadelphia Eagles have reportedly made a coaching change on the defensive side of the ball ahead of their Week 15 matchup with the Seattle Seahawks.
The change came after the Eagles have given up 33 or more points in their previous three outings. The Eagles gave up 42 points in their loss to the San Francisco 49ers in Week 13. The Eagles followed that up by giving up 33 to the Dallas Cowboys last week.
According to Fox Sports, the Eagles have the 22nd-ranked defense after Week 14. Head coach Nick Sirianni made a change before the Eagles have more bleeding this season. Per the NFL Network, Matt Patricia will call plays, and defensive coordinator Sean Desai will head to the coaching booth:

NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported Sunday on NFL GameDay Morning that Patricia will be on the sideline calling the plays into the green dot player starting Monday night against the Seattle Seahawks, per sources informed of the situation.
Defensive coordinator Sean Desai will move to the coaching booth, where he’d called plays from while DC with the Bears in 2021, per Rapoport.”
The Seahawks come into Week 15 ranked 19th in offensive scoring this season. They’re averaging 21.5 points per game. This should be a good test for the Eagles to see if the coaching change can make a difference.
