Journalist Derek Clark would have “no qualms” if Philippe Clement started Tom Lawrence for Rangers against Aberdeen.
The midfielder has returned to the pitch following a lengthy knee injury, starting in the last match against Livingston on Sunday 12 November.
Rangers won that match 2-0, and now return to action following the international break with a trip to Aberdeen on Sunday (26 November).
“Might we see Lawrence start?” Clark said on The Rangers Review (24 November). “We did see him start against Livingston of course. It’s good having him back available again, I would have no qualms about pitching him in on Sunday.”

Despite joining the Gers from Derby County back in the summer of 2022, Lawrence has made just 16 appearances for the club.
The new man in the dugout has enjoyed a superb start to life at Ibrox, with Rangers enjoying themselves in all competitions under the watchful eye of the Belgian.
They now have the chance to close the gap on fierce rivals and league leaders Celtic, but the trip to Aberdeen will be a very tricky one.
The Bhoys lead the way at the top of the Scottish Premiership, eight points ahead of the Gers, although the latter do have a game in hand.
