The Dallas Cowboys may still need to address position on their roster over the summer and the franchise may turn to the UFL for emerging talent.

America’s Team has been the face of the offseason but not for all the right reasons, especially their willingness to let several players walk.

Jerry Jones has shifted his attention to working out inevitable deals for CeeDee Lamb and Micah Parsons.

Dak Prescott remains eager for a new extension but the number that his QB’s representatives will be bargaining for will be a deterrent.

When free agency opened in early March, the Cowboys saw countless starters depart and very few faces arrive.

It has been a one-way exit out of Dallas but the squad has been supplemented with rookies, it is more cost-effective but a gamble on their production.

Outside Free agents Eric Kendricks, Royce Freeman, and their third-all-time leading rusher Ezekiel Elliott signed on.

Jourdan Lewis signed a new one-year deal to add depth for their secondary and long-snapper Trent Sieg returned.

However, the OTAs will have given the coaching staff a chance to identify key positions that must be addressed.

The Dallas Cowboys have been advocates for the Spring League in the past and could use this as a source for players once more.

Per Cowboys reporter Patrick Walker, America’s Team is trialing out two cornerbacks from the DC Defenders Deandre Baker and Gareon Conley.

Baker is a former first-round pick with the New York Giants and spent two seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs before signing into the UFL. In his first season, the 26-year-old has achieved all-time UFL status and could try to find his feet back in the NFL.

Conley is a former first-round pick with the Las Vegas Raiders and spent time with the Houston Texans after his departure. In four NFL seasons, he registered 94 tackles, 29 pass deflections, four interceptions, and a defensive touchdown.

The Cowboys are set to host Willie Harvey Jr. a linebacker for the St. Louis Battlehawks. He was once an undrafted free agent for the Cleveland Browns but failed to make headway onto the roster. In one season in the UFL, the former NFL player has also achieved All-UFL honors.

Three UFL stars are set to go on trial with the Cowboys as they hope to become established players in the NFL.

Special teams returner KaVontae Turpin emerged from the USFL and earned a Pro Bowl selection in his debut NFL season.

In addition, kicker Brandon Aubrey emerged from the Spring League as one of the best kickers in the NFL and is historically the most accurate rookie.

He became the first-ever player to have a 100% record through his first 30 field goal attempts and earned First-Team All-Pro honors.
