Berlin Kurier reports that the Chelsea striker, who is on loan, has been suspended for a week following the incident.
According to the publication, Fofana “refused to shake hands” with his coach following his substitution during this week’s Champions League loss to Napoli.
Union responded to the striker’s “frustration” in a number of ways, saying that it would have to be handled. The striker has struggled since joining the Bundesliga team on loan from Chelsea in the summer.
The forward has now received his penalty; according to Berlin Kurier, the team has given him a one-week suspension.
He won’t be included in the team for the matches against Werder Bremen and VfB Stuttgart; he may only practice alone until Wednesday.

According to reports, Fischer expressed his hope that the youngster learns from similar situations. Union evidently hopes that the suspension will put an end to the issue.
