One thing that Michael Beale got right was helping to bring Abdallah Sima to Rangers.
The 22-year old Brighton loanee has been an excellent addition to the squad and hit his 13th goal of the season against Dundee at the weekend.
With no loan-to-buy agreement in place, Abdallah Sima will only become a Rangers player permanently if a deal can be struck with his parent club, something it would appear he is keen to make happen, as told to Rangers TV.

If I am being hypercritical, in possession, the 6ft 3inch tall powerhouse could do with being more composed when creating chances for others and pick teammates out rather than aiming for an area of hitting and hoping.
When asked about the prospect of staying at Ibrox beyond this season, Abdallah Sima gave Rangers fans some much needed good news:
“To be honest, I am really happy to be in Glasgow right now and wearing this special shirt for me. It is a team that I really like.
“I said in my first interview it was a club I really like.
“They have everything for me to be happy.
“I am happy to be here and I hope we are going to find some things from here.
“I am happy to be here and to be helping the team now.”
Having a successful player trading model doesn’t just mean buying low and selling high, sometimes you have to buy high to sell higher.
Abdallah Sima cost Brighton around £6m two and a half years ago and he will have one year left on his current deal when he returns from being out on loan at Rangers – if he returns that is after the Gers boss revealed his desire to get talks started.
With David Weir as our not-so-secret weapon, added to the player’s clear desire to stay in Glasgow and with Rangers, it would be a lot of money but a lot of money that would be risk free and probably see a profit further down the line too.
