The Pittsburgh Steelers nearly faced an Arizona Cardinals team without their top two pass-catchers but will now square off with both of them in Week 13. The Cardinals ruled wide receiver Marquise Brown and tight end Trey McBride questionable coming into the weekend after both players missed significant practice time throughout the week. But according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, both players are expected to play against the Steelers.
Brown is dealing with a heel injury and missed two days of practice this week. He dealt with the injury last week against the Los Angeles Rams as well, but it didn’t slow him as he finished the contest with six catches for 88 yards. McBride has emerged as the team’s second-leading receiver behind Brown after replacing Zack Ertz, who was placed on Injured Reserve. After missing the first day of practice this week, he was limited during the final two.
The Cardinals are banged up on both sides of the ball, with four players out and four more, outside of Browns and McBride, listed as questionable. Cornerback Antonio Hamilton, safety Starling Thomas V, wide receiver Michael Wilson and offensive tackle Elijah Wilkinson will not play. Safeties Jalen Thompson and Joey Blount, defensive tackle Kevin Strong and wide receiver Zach Pascal will be game-time decisions.
